The red stripe ones still fail. Mines starting to crack on the ends after just a year.
Better to get an extra metre of it and have some slack, so that you can trim an inch or two off every few years.

Anyone have a pic of this on the car? Need to have a look at mine but not 100% sure what im looking at.
If you look at the pipe that runs from the brake servo there should - meaning if upgraded - be a dark red line running along the length of it.

Or find a local shop who services trucks and trailers or a hydraulics/air shop. I bought a replacement hose from one of those and was much cheaper!

Denthrax - if I hadn't already ordered mine that sounds like a very good idea. The worst it could be is as bad as the one from Vauxhall.
