Does anyone know the part number for this? The Swiss Opel Speedster centre of incompetence has ordered this for me and it's 40cm long. If I can give them the part number they might be able to find the right one. Thanks in advance.

Assuming you mean the hose from the engine bay, through the sill, to the servo, then:

Part No: 93172328

Length = As Required

Just make sure that the one you get given has a red stripe running alomg its length. This was the uprated hose as the original ones were prone to collapse.

He's having to order it from Germany so he won't be off loading stock - but the Germans might. I'll check it has the stripe, so thanks for the warning.

The red stripe ones still fail. Mines starting to crack on the ends after just a year.

:yeahthat:

Better to get an extra metre of it and have some slack, so that you can trim an inch or two off every few years.

If you look at the pipe that runs from the brake servo there should - meaning if upgraded - be a dark red line running along the length of it.

Or find a local shop who services trucks and trailers or a hydraulics/air shop. I bought a replacement hose from one of those and was much cheaper!

Denthrax - if I hadn't already ordered mine that sounds like a very good idea. The worst it could be is as bad as the one from Vauxhall.
