I know lots of people have the gel button stick on things for 'VX220 Turbo' and 'Momo' in the middle of the wheel. Would that not also be a hazard?
I was more thinking you could just keep the plastic cover and glue it in place instead of the vauxhall griffin

That is just a domed sticker, same as the Vauxhall one, it will stay attatched to one of the flaps when the airbag busts out
