He said he was happy for me to post this up, his doorcards were shocking when he bought the car, I'm sure they were trimmed on a budget by Stevie Wonder, The one doorcard was made up of 3 seperate pieces of faux suede WITH join lines  Almost like the trimmer ran out of material.

 

Anyway Craig asked me to work some magic on them, he picked the colours etc and although i was a little unsure on the grey, once fitted i think it looks great!

 

I suggested all black, with black and blue diamond stitch inserts, but he was set on grey, and now its fitted i think its a good choice, a little different to the norm but still quite OEM, dare i say it a little highend...

No jak, i've dabbled in fibreglass audio work for around 10 years, did setup for a while with a mate but it's more of a hobby these days, but that's where the trimming side comes from

They grey, I love but the quality of the diamond stitching is unbelievably perfect. It's a great job all in all! I'm more than happy with it and can't wait to get the seats and dash to match. (And yes, it's faux leather. Very good quality too)

Sitzenboots It would be a nightmare getting blue vinyl to match the bodywork, would look a little tacky imo too.

Darcini yep its a 2 way stretch grey vinyl, i use the black vinyl quite often so know how to work it and it's limits, I've used it a fair bit in the porsche interior.

 

Dash next, but I'll leave him to use a professional trimmer for the seats lol

Fred, I fully appreciate someone with the skills you have. I've had a go at doing some household seats etc and its bloody hard work. The finish looks top quality well done. I like the colours as well. Just wish you could do mine like that or do a how to guide so we could have a go ourselves.:-)
