My dad has never had a decent interest in cars. He's a GP so can probably get whatever he wants yet owns 3 Mitsubishi delicas.
One from an import auction and 2 from eBay. I got my fascination of how things work from him and he loves to tinker and is constantly buying things for them. If its a part and a good price he'll buy it even if he doesn't need it. Latest was a spare engine. Just in case.
His Doncaster house has 3 garages and all full of parts as I don't think he's ever thrown anything away. One even has a celica in it which ran out of tax in the late 80's. A Honda 750 bike which ran out of tax in the early 80's and a jag sovereign on the drive that hasn't moved for about 6 years.
Glad i dont get hoarding from him!

Old man has had a long line of Alfa's....from 33's, 75, 147, 156, GT, Spider and now has a Sud Cloverleaf. He also occasionally drives a Renault RS250 Megane.

Mum I've persuaded into RS Clio's and she's now had a 197 and currently drives a stealth black RS 200.

Quartic steering wheel was the correct term IIRC, my old man had one hanging on the wall of his garage for years, need to check if he's still got it after his last house move.

No photos, but Dad had an Opel Manta that I promised I wouldn't drive when I was 19 and they were on holiday - but I couldn't resist!! I did exactly 10 miles, thought he wouldn't know, but had written the mileage down before they went - I got an almighty bollocking!!

Best my dad ever had was the 199x Earls Court BMW 735i show car. It was specced to look exactly like the 750il that was in the bond film at the time (that's where I got the pic from) just without the blacked out windows and missiles etc!

Posted Image

God I miss that car. It was stunning with every conceivable option ticked! Hmm, think I might have to get on autotrader.

Lowest point was mum's Simca in skid mark brown!
