Techie is right you know. We know the limits of the SC set up is in the inlet and until somebody comes up with a real solution, we are limited by AIT.

My car was mapped with obd tuner on saturday. 332bhp with my 2.0litre saab engine and harrop with 75mm pulley. Problem was that the boost on rolling road was only 1.25 bar. Driving on normal road it is 1,47bar. And i have problems with knock retard around 3000. But there is no knock. I think that is a problrm of my 2.0 conversion. If you want me to do, i can put dataloggings and dyno-sheet online tonight

Here is the dyno-printout and the boost vs rpm logging:

You can see that the boost is too less and the torque around 3000 is too less, too.

That are both problems i talked about.

And you can see in the graph that i need to built my engine stable enough to rev more than 7000 ;-)

Maybe the difference in power is to do with rev limit I have double valve springs and super tech valves so I am moving my rev limit up .

Anyone know how many Harrops are running Peters software in Europe on a 2.2 engine?

Nor certain why the knock problem I have asked Jon about it.

when we put the 2.9 pulley on first run was 366bhp, it dropped a bit after 3 runs in a few mins down to 355bhp ish.

I am hoping that with water injection and back to the 2.8 pulley I should be able to achieve as sensible constant power level.

was thinking on a 2.2 z22se engine.  wondering if the 2.0lt engine is causing some of your issues?

is he having any problems?

I made it 60 - 100 in 5 seconds? Assuming a decent launch and a sub 4 second to 60, that's sub 10 seconds to 100mph! Nice :)

yep sub 4 to 60 mph or very near would need, only problem would be the clutch if you do that sort of launch too often

My old charger made 9.9 seconds to 100

What seems to be interesting is that the size of the pulley doesnt directly effect the boost level. Take these examples for example.. Nick - 377 bhp 2.8" pulley Nickb777 - 360bhp 2.9" pulley Mike - 350bhp 2.75" pulley All 3 cars were running pretty much the same boost pressure and interestingly nick (377) had less power / torque up the rev range and only in the last 1000rpm did it catch up and overtake the other 2 cars. Also after god knows how many runs the 377bhp dropped to 360bhp.

It has more to do with Mike's 4-2-1 manifold and Nick's 4-1 manifold than pulley size.

Same reason why mine has more mid range than all the other ITB cars

No, Smiley is making a surreptitious reference to the OBDTuner reflash, which he believes fixes everything known to mankind, except his exhaust noise. :P

That hurts :(

 I promise you, ZT1 wont make any difference either. I think that's the version in my silencer and 80% of it hasn't even melted and expanded fully. I'm inclined to wrap the perforated tube with one or two layers of ZT1 (as it certainly doesn't break down and blow out of the exhaust) and then go back to a normal stuffing for the rest of the space in the silencer which might have slighty better acoustic properties.

A good option might be acustafil around the pipe acting like you would with wire wool then pack the rest with the silentex I have in my tullet. It comes in plastic bags and looks like cotton wool this makes packing very easy. I have not lost any Silentex out of mine but it is not SC.
