Hello All,

First post from Matthew Bentley Racing. Ive been around in the background for a while but not posted, so here I am!

A few people on here have met me/know me and a few have even used me for work on there cars (say hello now).

If you dont know me then you can find out about me here:

http://www.facebook....eyRacing?ref=hl

The website is on its way shortly.

In first post there is also a deal to be had!

I have seen that a few people are talking about Quantum dampers on the forum and that a few people have started fitting them with good results. Working with Geary from VX220 Parts / Elise Parts I have a damper and geo upraged to offer.

From EP:

Quantum Zeros are £725 +vat (£870 inc vat) for the linear spring option and £750 (£900 inc vat) for the progressive spring option.

Quantum Black (single adjustable) are £1295 +vat (£1554)

The three different options of deal I can offer are:

Quantum Zeros with linear springs, fitted, ride height/camber/toe set for £990 inc vat

Quantum Zeros with progressive springs, fitted, ride height/camber/toe set for £1025 inc vat

Quantum Blacks, fitted, ride height/camber/toe set for £1600!!

The above assumes your front and rear bump steer has previously been set correctly and does not need setting.

If you add £100 to the above offer I will do a full chassis geometry setup. That would add caster being set, front and rear bump steer being set and corner weights checked.

I hope this sounds interesting to a few people. I can work around any options you would like or upgrades you would like to add at the same time.

Thanks

Matt

When people ask me for prices it get a bit tricky. If a customer just wants the ride height, camber and toe setting I normally do that for £100-150. If as you are asking want the full works and some thought put into actually setting your car up, then it will take me 3/4 of a day to just over a day to do (depending on the base car I am given). With that in mind for ride height, rake consideration, corner weighting, front and rear bump steer adjustment, castor, camber and toe more like £300-350.

Appreciate it's difficult to be accurate but at least it gives me an idea. Thanks. My Nitron comment was tongue in cheek.

Ok so basic ride height, camber and toe £120-150 Ride height, camber, castor, toe and bump steer front and rear £250-275. Right height, corner weighting, camber, castor, toe, bump steer front and rear £300 - 350. I can also fine tune this all at circuit for track day / race customers if they want it set to there driving style. Sound good? Matt

Matt does indeed set my car up for Time Attack and I have to say, it is handling the best I have ever known it and baring in mind the kit we have added this year he has had to start from scratch.

On top of that, he is a bloody nice bloke, has ins with Elise Parts and being just round the corner from them, parts supply if needed, is no issue.

I've had a look at FB, it tells me what you are up to now, but nothing about your background or why you may be able to do a good job on my car.

What's your CV?

True, well Ive done a few little bits and bobs. I started out at a Morgan cars main dealer who were a Lotus approved service agent. We did everything from chasis up rebuilds on Morgans to servicing and upgrades to TVR's, Lotus and VX's. Skipping some bits in the middle for the more recent work I contracted for a few teams building/running Historic F1's, Prototyres (Ligiers in Speed series, SR8's SR3's etc). Also contracted and ended up working for a big Lotus race team building/running Elise/Exige/2-11's along with Gt4 Astons. Most recently I worked for John Danby Racing and ran there motorsport Elise and 2-11. Now I've started up on my own doing what you saw on the facebook page.

Is that the kind of information you wanted?
