Just changed the oil and brake fluid ready for Zandvoort. Only done about 4 trackdays and no road miles on both but it's not expensive stuff. Noticed I need a brake light and header tank though. How the header tank didn't blow at Blyton I don't know. Also I don't think my lambda cheater is working properly but ill see.

Car was impeccable at Zandvoort. I have decided that once these RSR's wear out I'm moving too ZZRs. Also noticed as I was putting it on the drive that all heat and corners has done in my steering UJs so will have to get a pair ordered. Hate being upside down :(

Snett was good, hopefully get some more trackdays booked soon. Thinking blyton park for Oct, donnington for Nov and brands for Dec. Picked up 2 new UJs on ebay for £21 for the pair delivered. Will get them fitted this week. Hopefully will get it lined up spot on so I don't need to get the geo checked.

Tried to fit the UJs, issues in another thread. Noticed I have an oil leak in filter area. Last time I changed it the cap came off properly so I didn't touch the seals, and it was about a year ago when I had the engine out. I'm not sure where I've put the spare seal I had though so I've ordered some more with a new filter so ill stick them in next week. (Cover your ears JG) Also ran a jetwash over it with some military washing up liquid in it. Looks cleaner now. It doesn't get the rubber marks off the paint from track rubber being flicked up though.

You are most welcome sir.

Oops!...i didn't know it had been a while but never mind, i live in hope that the old adage 'it is better late than never' applies ;) :)

WD40 (or Auto Clay if you have it to hand) i think, is the best bet to safely remove rubber deposits from paintwork. Good luck with getting a nice finish (keeping my fingers crossed).

As an update too this. New Fast lap of 1:14.09 only have the video of 1:14.33 though. It was a very good day though and have decided I'm selling my spare TDs and buying a set of 888s. Will try this track again in the summer. New Fast lap of Blyton Park VX220 NA: Also a video of being pressurised by Steve A and then following him. Blyton Park 25/01/15 VX220:

Autosmart Tardis works really good for removing rubber streaks  thumbsup

Changed the tyres for some 888's.  Old RSR'S are for sale in another thread.

Got the new RC6 pads at home and just ordered 4 new pagid discs from carparts4less, £93.

At some point this week I'm going to attack the hole in my cill from Pembrey (nearly 2 years ago) it's bigger now though and I need some mesh to fill the hole first I think!

Started on the hole. It has grown a bit over the years.

Had to start at one side just using my fingers to get the aluminium mesh, then resin and fibreglass in. Worked from left to right then managed to do the last bit through the gap at the top of the cill.

Part way through

Finished now. Onto filling at some point over the weekend.

Yeah to get it mostly there then finished by hand. Getting high at the minute from the paint. Hoping to get the last of the paint on in a min then baked with my heater then lacquered then the car needs cleaning and loading ready for tomorrow.

Will wet sand and polish in about a week.
