Now for a quick wash and to load it up.

Looking good.

Great track. 3 red flags slowed the morning while buckets of oil were cleared up.
Took my dad out in the afternoon. I took it reasonably easy but I'm not sure he enjoyed it too much. He was 60 yesterday.
Managed to put in a 1:40.75 video to follow.
Then ended up snapping a toe link and sticking it in the tyre wall. Also video to follow.

Ah no! Hopefully the damage isn't too bad?

Jeezus sorry to see that but glad you're in one piece! How's the car?

How did you find the 888's compared to the RS-R's - much difference?

The car needs a lot of clam repairs, rear window, exhaust, diffuser, wing as a minimum.
To tell you the truth it felt like I had less grip at the rear, lowering pressures helped but the grip went off again on a longer session.
I think I just need to play with the pressures.

Pretty good going for your first visit. You should deffo be short shifting before the chicane and before sunny out as i mentioned, you will gain bags of time by doing it.

That hole repair looks familiar

I tried it a couple of times but seemed to be very short. Problem was getting back to back clear laps to see if it made me quicker. And the fact I wasn't too consistent haha.

My theoretical best was 1 tenth faster than my best so that's not bad.

A guy near me has a NA clam for sale in silver, I am not to sure on the price .

Should be able to repair the rear clam. I hope.
The left over of the wing is off. The lights are out, one is scrap. Diffuser is off, scrap.
Clam is ready to come off but need a second person for that.
Hopefully will take the exhaust back to work with me next week to get welded.
So fix the toe link, rear window and clam repairs and it's ready to go. New wing and diffuser are shiney extras that are not critical.
