Caterham racing has Champagne and hats 😉 nudge, nudge.
We had hats at the msv circuits. I assume it's the circuit that provides them and not our organiser :/
The races were also recorded by motors TV and one of my sponsors were there so I had to put on a good show.

Depends who the organiser is, MSVR is hats, cups and fizzy wine and at Rockingham with CSCC I got a hat and a garland (mine was real though 🖕ðŸ˜) All the leaves fell out after a couple of days 😪We had hats at the msv circuits. I assume it's the circuit that provides them and not our organiser :/

Same reason you don't have many caterhams either. An M3 can make a mess a VX/Lotus/CaterhamGood pointDamage

One of the guys has a honda Elise and did his first few races in it a couple of years ago. Got a fair bit of damage in his first one which made him move to a type R before the end of the season.
I used to get comments and some before the start of this season but as some competitors are so close or quicker in a straight line it's all gone quiet.

I don't know why I was so quick, that second race I was a second quicker than everyone else. I'd not done any changes from silverstone. I'm beginning to like Rockingham though with its strange slippery surface.
Donington next so I want to get 1 or 2 practice days there. Snett on Sunday though first.

Well done Mark! You were too quick and way ahead in front, so not much footage of you & the VX.
Next time, pretend, just slow down, make it look like a battle for the cameras & just lead on the last couple of laps...Lol!
As much as I made work hard for myself the second race made much better footage. They cut it short as it took about 4 laps for me to get passed the Civic whereas they made it look like I got it done in 1-2. So they missed a bit of me going sideways behind him.
The only thing that isn't great is the accuracy of the commentary. I think it was put in afterwards and not the original commentary and the TV companies guy didn't get passed the right information.
Namely saying I missed Silverstone and my best result previously was 6th :/

Just watched all of that. What great footage and a great thing to look back on - good for your sponsor too! Are they going to cover the rest of the season?
Ps. Great move to take the lead back in race 2 - round the outside or Tarzan! Played nicely to the vx strengths of corner exit grip!
They are doing/have done 3 750mc rounds this year so every series is recorded atleast once. That was the only one that lines up with our calendar though.
As soon as I saw he didn't close me out on the exit and let me get my nose into the inside I decided that whenever he braked I was braking later. I went sideways into the chicane which is why I lost momentum momentarily but the angle doesn't show it very well. They should have used the clip from inside the civic seeing as they fitted cameras in his car!
Also, I sent them all my footage of the second race but they didn't use it so I don't know if they got it. Damn snail mail.
