Yeah would do. Do you SC boys use an upgraded one or does the standard one handle it? Been talking to JK comp and their new vx seats are alot stronger as they have an extra skin and also sit lower as they sit between the rails. Also provide an extra 2 pieces of padding in the sides to hold us skinny blokes more snugly! Now, shall i buy Steve A's RC6 brake pads? Hmmmmmmm.

Not yet, apparently he's already send a set to a vx owner and is waiting for some feedback. Normal wait is 3-4 weeks so im going to push to have them for the national!

Just ordered jk composite seats. New design as they are still developing brackets. Mine will use extra brackets that fit to the original runners but they are hoping the final finished ones will have the brackets built in and plug and play. They have an extra skin so are a lot stronger and sit lower in the runners. Should take 2-3 weeks to make.

RC6 pads do grip well once they are warmed up.

Nice purchase Mark, I've been vaguely considering doing the same, though will likely wait for prices to drop further.

I'm a bit slow and only just seen you're back. Welcome back!!! Also can't believe you've had the noble that long, seems like only yesterday that I was reading your Afgan posts and just getting the noble.

So, what have I been doing? Stripped the interior completely, cut off the headrests and fitted Steve A's harness bar and harnesses. On removing the egr valve one bolt sheered. On extracting that it took the end of the casting off so had to drill and new hole. All fitted and cheated now though. The front clam came off yesterday and the coolant was just water so drained all that. Removed the fezzasaurus heater (which is for sale) and bypassed that. Removed the fog lights but left the brackets in as the look like they suppose the clam a fair bit. Can I remove as well do you think? So today I need to refill the coolant, change the oil and bleed the brakes. Need to choose some seats to buy, find a zafira gearbox. And while I'm doing that I may as well do the flywheel. Then may as well push it as far as balencer delete and new chain. Then find a tubby back box and upgrade the rest of the system to 2.5. I don't want to SC yet as id like to track it as an NA first but I don't want to do anything to it which I have to change again for SC.

God...sounds like you been busy....looking good so far.

Well one seats in and fitted. The other will be delivered this week as they are modifying the standard runner as the brackets on it don't bolt on and off like the drivers side.

The made some brackets to bolt to the original subframes once you take off the original brackets. The new brackets have some adjustment so you can raise or lower the rear of the seat too.

Can you have the seat belts still or just the harnesses?
