Just picked the trailer up. Well happy with it. Bargain at £995. 1800kg MAM and 1400kg load. Also go both GM chain kits and the cut down balancer shafts. If i can get a zafira box and lightened fly by the end of this week then ill get it all fitted for brands a week on friday. If not ill have to do it after!

Stuck the vx on the scales as we have some at work. They are just for weighing pallets so the tolerance is 500g.
It has a full tank of fuel and my helmet in it.

Done a little christmas shopping. My mum is now getting a hardtop - picking it up this weekend. My step dad is getting a new set of RS-Rs - should be delivered later this week. My brother is getting some front tie bars for the splitter. Ive not decided on my sister yet. This week ive swapped the 2 wheel arches over on the trailer as the folding one was on the wrong side for a backwards VX. If I get time then frostys wing will be fitted and I'll aquire some marine ply ready for the front splitter. But now its christmas pissup time, the only good thing about christmas is I can up the drinking from 3 days a week to 5 and no-one cares whoop!

Cage in . . . you planning on racing it or just for safety? Which series?

Also you may want to add some kind of spreader plate for the splitter tie bars. Think Mikes pulled out at one point this year. Suppose it depends if you would prefer it to rip out and repair a little hole or have less chance of it ripping out but if it should you have a big hole to fix.

One will probably only go in if/when I race. Ive not decided on that yet, there are some military ones which will probably be easier for time off to do it. At the minute I just want to learn to drive fast!

All the interior apart from the dash, no heater, no boot liner, jk seats. Thats about it I think. I need to get some poly windows ordered so I can get rid of those and the winder mechanisms.

Popped down to poole and cut 2 front splitters out of marine ply. Need to get them fitted but the weather so sh*t I can't face going down to the workshop yet. Got the 2 new rear tyres fitted and fixed a nail in one of the audi tyres. Alot easier when you have access to a machine haha.

Went down to the workshop through the driving rain.
Removed the front undertray and cut the bottom of the front clam off. Turning the blue golf next to me into a white car in the process.
Lined the splitter up and propped the tie bars on for a picture.
Had to stop because even though they give me so much responsibility they have to check ive cleaned my room properly before i can go home tomorrow. So im now hoovering :(

Need to get an ally skirt made to go between the clam and splitter and some end things and a couple of brackets to secure the splitter to the front of the crash box.
