FLD, was there 2 styles of seats to choose from as simon says in his e-mail, have you seen them both?

Nope, I thought it was the same seat in black or white

Did you go for padding?

No, thought I'd get some that looks a bit better (vain, me?)

Do you reckon the 5 piece JK padding will fit ok as it looks a bit nicer.

Not a clue?!

Keep us informed of what you decide on the brackets please!

Just got mine today.  Its a damn good moulding for the money.  It is, as said elsewhere a bolt through affair so will need some BIG penny washers.  For those that want to know how the subframe needs 'fettling' here's a pic.  The front two need nothing, its the side ones that need adjusting.  You'll either need suitable spacers or to bend the brackets.  Hmmm.

FLD in the gap if its of help I used a seat belt spacer just the correct size. If you pull the sides in to tight it will put the runners out of line with the floor fixing hole,

Maybe black and white is the 2 styles he means! Haha.
I'm with you on the vein-ness haha. Keep me informed of your padding decision then!

This is the JK padding, if you hadn't seen it!

I thought the other thread had gone a bit quiet....

Cheers for the pics Kieran and FLD. Look forward to seeing them in the flesh at some point and getting your opinion on them once fitted.

Not a fan of the padding, I presume DtT would be able to knock something up and give full options on what it would look like.

Nope, mine looks like a lotus motorsport copy (like the original pics).  This one looks like a reverie.

Emailed Simon about the reverie replicas last night and he got back to me this morning.

Same price as the lotus copies, I think the sides are higher on the reverie versions looking at pictures and with me wanting more lateral grip they would be the ones to go for.

Lotus/vx seat rails are really heavy so I would be making a set of side mounts myself anyway aswell to get the seat as low as possible.

Im thinking of giving him a go on one of them for the driver and see how it pans out.

I will need to drill and put bolts through the seat to mount to a frame, he has said he has added extra matt in there for strength

don't you guys have any issues with the bolts that go through the seat into the "sitting area"?

And how "wide" are you gys?  I am a jeans size 34.. will that fit? :)

Proper rip off off a Reverie, you can still see part of the logo in the back rest.
