I recently had paint protection fitted to my front end. Really pleased with the result. The material used is the equivalent to Ventureshield and is UV stable. Cost was £300. Some pics :

Is that an air bubble in the forth photo next to the fog light?

I dropped my car off at liams house and he drove it to work the following day. So I'm not 100% sure. I'll find out how long they need.

Looks Good :)

Not sure about the bit around the side of the lights though?

In the fourth picture you can see the line on the corner edge. Does it then continue along the bumper to the arch? I'd assume its this cheap as it doesn't cover as much as others products do. Mine goes all the way to the bonnet

So you paid 300 quid and took a day to get protection on your end 😃

If you zoom in on the first picture, you can see that the paint protection follows the contour of the light up to and along the join in the clam, along to the wheel arch.

There are basically 4 pieces. The main piece along the front around the grill. Two side pieces that go to the wheel arch, and the strip along the vertical edge above the grill. It doesn't go all the way up to the bonnet. The pieces are for the areas most at risk. They are pre cut (now they have the patterns drawn up), and the £300 is a fitted price.

You need to call him really. He rarely comes on to .Org, so it's unlikely he'll see your PM.

Why doesn't it wrap the all the way around the bumper? I've never seen it stop like that, is that right??

Seems a bit expensive. My paint protection wraps the whole front bumper and half the bonnet and cost about the same.

I believe my Armofend was the same before it was removed.

From what I understand its about £500 elsewhere (granted it goes up to the bonnet, but do you really need that bit doing?)

Dunno why I said that tbh, must have been in forum mode.  Intend to call him.

I had another good quote today £375:

The 'bumper' is in one piece from the wheel arch edge to the centre of the car. It also folds into the lower grill aperture so the 'corner radius' of this is covered.

The 'bonnet' piece goes up to the main 'vents' on the clam. It then extends around the top of the headlights and up to the wheel arch edge.

A bit closer to me and may fit at the bodyshop, so I reckon for the coverage and the convenience I'll end up going to them.

Thanks for posting up though.
