Well after all of the talk about replacing my N/A with a Porsche, it seems I can't live without a VX in my life. So out with the old

And in with the new.

Very nice indeed, how are you finding it compared to the NA?

What porkers were you looking at before seeing sense?

Shameless picture as we all love a moonland

I find it very fast in a straight line, driving it home today I found coming down motorway slip roads and opening the throttle got me into licence losing territory very very quickly. Overtaking is an absolute breeze as it is instant power. When I get a passenger I would like to get some in gear sprint times because it I can't believe how quick it picks up. I am a bit apprehensive of pushing it too soon so I am not sure about the limits etc. but it seems more of a point and squirt type of car.

I was torn between Cayman S and Carrera 4S but there was always the IMS and bore scoring issues at the back of my mind and the thought of engine rebuilds scared me away.

I deliberately wanted as standard / factory fresh as I could and barring a blue flame exhaust and a VXR this is as it left the factory. The last owner suggested a sports cat and a remap to make the best of the turbo change but I don't think there is any rush.
