Nice pics Tomo. I did my second race there when I had my MGB GT. Brilliant circuit and quite easy to get wrong and make a mess of things.

I didn't know you had an MGB GT, cool car mate.  Got any pics?

Lewis, I spent the first hour on this track making a total arse of myself.  It is a great circuit but by Christ it is difficult to learn.  To make things just that little bit harder I am trying to train my hands to stop feeding the steering wheel at the moment (not sure my first time at Cadwell was the ideal time to start).  Scuffers and Mike (Cliffie) pointed out on one of my videos that my hands weren't at the correct 10 to 2 position.  It is really hard breaking the habit but I'm nearly there:

That wasn't a seat, it was James bonds DB6. Did you not see the smoke screen coming out the back?

Not sure if you did see it. It was sat outside the motor club for quite a while. I still had it when I had the Fiat Coupe.

Well, my week started with the knowledge that I'd be working all weekend.  Last thing on the Friday I get the nod that I'm not needed.  The wife and kid are up in Scotland so what to do..............keys, suncream, wallet,  lets go!

My route was horse shoe pass, Evo triangle then down to lake Bala and lake vymvy (think that's how you spell it).  All in all an utterly brilliant day.  Here are some pics (first time I've used flickr, hopefully it has worked).

What is the verdict on the quantums?

Stunning scenery, car looks good. I've wanted to do the Evo triangle for years, maybe soon. When is Nelly next organising a hoon?

I found a few more pics from a track day at goodwood lurking in the bowels of my computer.  There were some interesting cars there that day, including a few VX's.

My car is back from the sprayers and is looking mighty fine, just a few minor cosmetic jobs left to do. Here are a few pics:

Cheers Lewis, I'm feeling quite good about the car at the moment. The only slightly annoying thing, the radiator started leaking the day after the clam was painted........... :9mm:  :drink:  :ffs:

That was no ordinary VXR8, it had an eye watering 690 BHP!

That's got to sound like Thor clearing his throat! Certainly one to watch for a "sensible" car
