Alright Simon,  hope things are working out for you the other side of the pond.

 

To be honest mate the dust has well and truly settled for me with regards to the fire. The insurance paid out and I bought an epic SC'd VX with the cash. It was crap at the time but I've moved house, got a new job etc etc so it is but a distant memory. This story refuses to die though, I'm sure there are a few twists and turns left in it yet.

I went even further west and crossed another pond in the end (that is to say I'm in Hong Kong now). 

 

How did you find the SC versus your old turbo? I think I'd go down the SC route if I get another. Are you still in the forces or did you leave?

I bought a very well sorted sc, it had very many expensive upgrades. It was better than my old turbo in every measurable way. That said, my next vx will be a turbo. Not sure why. I'm still in the mob. I've left teaching and back working on aircraft so very happy at the moment. How did you end up in the far east? Did you over shoot the States?
