My mate has a set of 16"/17" speedlines that he has just spent a fortune on being sent away and refurbed in silver, and then decided he'd prefer to keep his TD1.2's

They haven't even been fitted with tyres or bolted to a car yet

They include centre caps (badges slightly corroded, see pics) and loads of speedline corse stickers. I'm pretty sure these are original speedline wheels, you can see the speedline lettering inside the rim in the pics - please correct me if i'm wrong i'm no expert on the different speedlines and copies etc although I do own an original set myself and they looked the same before being refurbed silver.

The wheels are available for pickup from North Wales - near Chester (Queensferry). OR if you're not in a rush I could bring them to the Loughborough area as I travel between wales and loughborough fairly regularly. If you wanted to arrange a courier to collect them i'm sure that would be ok subject to funds clearing first etc etc

Also, if interested, he has a set of silver flush fit valves that can be yours for an additional £20 if you fancy.

Do they all have Speedline written on them?

What's the easiest way to tell if these are indeed genuine Speedlines folks? Actually quite like these in silver...

Thanks ratboiler, they are definitely originals I've/we've checked a couple of sets now, there was on the confusion due to the way the speedlines are stamped up.

Stuwy - he was about to replace his mint TD1.2's with them as he loves the look of them (look nice in silver I think) but then he realised how much heavier the speedlines are compared to the TD's.

Mine don't bother me but he's spent hours stripping out unwanted weight from the car so putting an additional ~10kg into the car made him sick. So he's selling them on at a loss really.

I'd quite happily take them but I need to sell my black ones to fund it lol
