If you want the new standard ECU to be flashed by SC so it reads the correct chassis number ect. then the whole car has to be at CS for them to do it.

Well the ECU was sent away for diagnosis and returned 99.9 percent fault free, However steve spent months eliminating all options, Then sent the car to Advanced Engineering motosport in SilverStone. So Ecu route is recommended to remedy the car, The car wouldnt start apart from when very cold outside and then it ran extreemly lumply and erratic revs then died
hmm... I'd still be a bit weary it's completely the ECU.
If you could get another ECU and see if it starts I'd start there.
Even an unmapped NA ECU is fine to start and check it's OK.

Very similar to turbo conversion prices as per my original thread. Dbw setup may end up been a touch more but will absorb that on the 1st sc conversion All wiring loom sorted and just a choice of TC included option or not B-) DGWhat price is this Duncan all in fitting and mapped ?You mean like the conversion with Chris I offer :-D Awaiting a sc who want the best setup ;-) DG

If it's any use I have been down this route already, I went CMS then brought a standalone, then had the z20let modded (cms cost me 2K+) for the s/c setup, back to cms again on the z22se and finally have gone Dutch. Serious money wasted...
I really looked into all the options and you need to be willing to pay £3K to get a GOOD standalone + custom loom + all the mapping and at the end of it you will still need to pay for another map should you change your setup.
With the dutch software I know it's only for the z22se but it's also going to save money in the long run me thinks especially if you tinker with the car.
PS Peter is doing my ecu as I type
