My car has high HC readings due to cams and a lot more ignition advance to get a steady idle with the cams. I will take the car around to my mot place and have a play with idle speed and ignition to see if this can be mapped out. The lambda readings are fine as running in closed loop.

Resurrecting a old but ongoing thread, I decided to go with the AEM Infinity ECU, the cars getting mapped in two weeks. the BHP was capped at 255 on the OEM ecu. However my question is can I have this limit raised? It has installed an AEM V2 water/methanol kit installed mainly for cooling Alloy rad with competition fan charge cooler with dual pass mod I've read many threads and 265 seems to be the safe limit, with many capping at 250. Would the added cooling from the water meth kit safety allow the car to operate at the 265 or more?

it's the internals that need to be upgraded to operate safely over 260 ish bhp by that I mean you need new piston rods that will allow you to go to about 310 ish again as the next limit reached will be the pistons themselves.

I thought as much but needed confirmation before I had the vx mapped, I'll stick with the safe limits, when the cars mapped I'll share its graphs and stats so that it can be compared to the other options dutch sect,
