Scuffers will never win here. His name was rubbished as soon as he started posting here. Personally I think he's done a fair few of you a favour and is seeing it through to the end. Now Jimmy is also going out of his way to get this sorted but there has been some skirting around imo

I think it is unfair that Nitron now want to charge to fix the issue but that is their prerogative I guess.

I must admit as much as we've clashed on this issue, it wouldn't have been identified or steps taken to rectify it without him. I'll freely admit I've learned a shitload throughout this process. He's as informative as he is intolerable.

I really like Elise Parts and had an Elise when Geary first set it up - its a fantastic buisness but this joker must be doing so much harm to its public image! Yep I thought what a very knowledgeable and valuable contribution to the vx community when I met him at Autosport, this opinion has now changed after several months of reading his posts on here.

If you re-read the thread and filter out the 'personalities' an issue was raised and a reasonable technical debate occurred and the solution identified.  Jimmy has negotiated with Nitron on behalf of everyone and we have a fix. All good. 

 

Given I bought by Nitrons second hand it would be outrageous for me to expect them to be modified for free.  Jimmy PM'd me the details of spec and cost and I'm happy with that.  I'd rather my personal financial details be kept off open forum! 

 

In short, less willy waving and more technical debate please.  We do need to be respectful of others and may need to spell things out as not everyone is a mechanical legend.
