I'm liking that grille. Is it an irmscher or some other brand?

Its a Steinmetz copy , made by a member on here called Splam.  Its about 1/3 the price of a genuine Steinmetz grille.

Here's a better pic of one (with a cheeky Steinmetz badge added to it)

I guess the info is only a search away, but I'll ask anyway. How much do these things go for, and is it 'reversible' ie. is it easy to go back to the old setup?

Splam grills are still made but Sam is very busy again at present so none currently available, suggest you pm him Myles if you want one mate. They take about 5 minutes to fit once you've removed your V

I know what you mean mate it's surprising how one thing leads to another. It all leads to an empty wallet though. 😝👍

And just for comparison purposes, here's a pic of a genuine Steinmetz.  The genuine article retailed at £399 plus delivery but don't think they are made any longer.

The quality of Sam's (Splam's) grille is superb and you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between his and the genuine article, especially if you add a badge.  Although be aware that they do tend to rub against the clam in one or two places.
