P0107 - Manifold absolute pressure/barometric pressure circuit low input 􏰀 Engine speed is less than 1000 rpm 􏰀 Intake manifold absolute pressure sensor voltage is less than 0.08 V or Concerned Terminals: X22: 12, 35, 58 􏰀 Engine speed is greater than 1000 rpm 􏰀 Throttle valve opening is greater than 21.9 % 􏰀 Intake manifold absolute pressure sensor voltage is less than 0.08 V And P1514 - Electronic Throttle Control Malfunction 􏰀 The control unit recognises the malfunction of the circuit via an internal evaluation logic. Concerned Terminals: X22: 12, 35, 58

Not certain, worth checking the connectors by the header tank, maybe contact cleaner first Did you go Tmap? I have a spare almost new map sensor if needed.

AFAIK OBDtuner runs the engine on speed-density (MAP) so you need a properly working sensor for it to run OK. It may fall back on alpha-N (TPS) as a failsafe, but that's about it..

Sounds a lot like something is wonky in the MAP sensor wiring or it's readout as the ECU code for the electronic throttle is also quite picky about what it sees as 'acceptable' values for a throttle-position  and pressure range, so both codes are probably related and share the MAP sensor as a common element.

Do a datalog and see what values the MAP is returning and if they are sane or not?

You do have an ECU and software now that can datalog you know ;)

Bye, Arno.

The way I read it you can use a 2.5 Tmap sensor at any time just stay under 1.5 bar boost if you are going to do more than that then put a 3.0 bar sensor in

Yes good call Arno, I'm going to get multi meter out make sure I've got 5v input.

That's not a t map that is a standered 2bar map sensor

interestingly i had the same issue lee, mike and yourself have been having and i only run 1bar of boost.

1.5 bar is 21.7 psi Not certain what size pulley you have but will depend on that

Fit a boost gauge you should no what boost from the size pulley you are running on the m62 but all cars are a little different .

It's a m62 3.1 pulley charger has some minor porting Is there a way of working it out or do I need boost gauge

Historically the 1514 was generated by:

- scangauge set to showing more then 3 values - faulty injector - faulty map sensor

Where 3 is the most common one on this code.

Thanks, ordered and installed Torque Pro to my phone.   Hopefully will capture some data

thumbsup   In order to get added boost values from your MAP sensor, assuming it's measured in kPa as it is on the NA, you subtract 100kPa (which is the background atmospheric pressure) from the absolute reading and then multiply by 0.14503773773020923 (probably don't need that level of accuracy  ) to get the actual added boost (i.e. what a boost gauge would display) in psi. Or multiply the kPa figure (less the 100kPa) by 0.01 to get the added boost in bar.

My SC produces ~13.5psi of boost with a 2.9" pulley fitted and I'm still running the original Courtenay MAP sensor from when they did the conversion 4 years ago and have never had the issue despite presumably being at the very very edge of what that sensor can support. I used to get the same problem on my NA when I was trying to run the 68mm LSJ throttle body with the 2.4 inlet manifold. Never solved the problem and abandoned it for the SC conversion. P1514's are mainly caused by the loom of doom so definitely check that's all secure. You need to bin that MAP sensor and fit the 2.5 bar or 3.0 bar TMAP sensor and do the necessary loom mods to run it and then reconfigure OBDTuner for it.

Mark Verboom (http://www.verboom.n...ster/index.html figured this out at some point, many moons ago.

May i suggest to clear the code, disconect the scangauge and go for a blast to verify?
