Does anyone no if the bosch 0 261 230 042 has the same plug as the Delphi 2.0 bar

 

 

No, the 2.5 bar and 3.0 bar sensors are 4 wire (it measures two functions and not one, like the regular MAP) and not the 3 wire connection that the standard MAP sensor uses. Instructions for wiring the TMAP sensor into the standard IAT sensor and MAP sensor circuits are in the OBDTuner manual or in a couple of threads on here over the last two weeks.

Just for information pressure was up at 1032mb when I arrived tonight, highest it's been for some time.

 

Get the TMAP sorted, hopefully sort it.

OK a bit of research this morning looks like the 3.0bar bosch (0281002437) TMAP is ready available from vectra 1.9CDTI and saab9-3 2.2TiD

 

going to go to the breakers to see if they can sort a plug out for me

That was for info only, it shouldn't have any effect on the sensor. 

 

Just sounds like the map sensor has failed did you want to try a direct replacement first or are you just going to put the 

TMAP sensor on? I would be nice to know that in fact was the cause before making changes.

Ideally want get it going before further mods, But I've been looking at software and think it allows the different sensor without activating the temp then mod wiring later I think the iat will be usefull

yes thats the way I read it also.

 

When you do rewire it though I wonder if you should do a learning run again, as you are now taking the air temp post  compressor and it's going to be higher. 

 

Did you want me to send you a spare map sensor?

Why dont you just get the 2.5bar map sensor they put on stage 2/3 conversions and be done with it?

Why dont you just get the 2.5bar map sensor they put on stage 2/3 conversions and be done with it?

I would like to get it working first do I know that look etc are ok

I think I have 2 spare 2.5bar tmap sensors also

 

I could send you both get it running with the normal map sensor, then change to the tmap once your happy everything is ok.
