We all know that Jimmy is a good guy, but I thought I would pop up a quick review of the work that he recently carried out on my car.
After going stage 3 though vocky, just as I picked up my car the group buy for the Harrop came about. As I had the internals, the last stage is actually quite cheap. Stage 2 is still the most cost effective, the stage 3 jump is massive, but stage 3 to the harrop isn’t too bad as it is just the charger (more or less).
So Jimmy picked my car up from Bristol fitted a saab sump that he sourced, the tmap sensor, the harrop, the necessary injectors, the fez uprated heater and also did a marathon job of sorting out my wiring in the car as it was a complete mess. Oh, and an uprated fuel pump. Oh, and fitted back in the ECU that had been sent off for the Dutch software!
Jimmy works like a machine and I am very sure that he counted his hours very generously in my favour, as there is no way that I can comprehend doing all of that work in the time he quoted me for. To be clear Jimmy is an absolute perfectionist.
I don’t know what to say other than a big thankyou to him and the work that he has put in and for giving me back the gift of having a running vx again! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to any of you guys as he is a valuable asset this side of the country.
Next stage is working with his contact for my respray…
