thumbsup thanks for taking part. Oh and btw.... PayPal told me off for using my account for taking raffle money... It's classed as gambling and I got a telling off :unsure: oops So will have to look at another option next year, rest assured there will be another one next year, so thanks for everyone's support!

Surely it's classified as a charitable donation and there's no reason to disclose to PayPal why people are making those donations?

They looked at the amount of "donations" and style of payments.They're not daft.I had to "sign" an affidavit to say I agreed with t+c and wouldn't do it again.My account is now back to normal but had I not agreed, it would have been closed.

Use Justgiving or the like next year and we can also claim the tax back and increase the donations. You would need to agree charities beforehand though.

I'm pleased to say that the passenger rides with Cliffie have been taken by Fab and Harry Hornet. HH is riding with Cliffie at Silverstone, and Fab is taking the Brands slot. Through Cliffies generosity providing the rides and of course that of Fab and HH, we have another £100 in the pot taking our grand total to £1300!!! Pretty bloody impressive if you ask me. I'm away in Cyprus until 13th August, with sporadic access, so will be sorting the charity payments on my return, so if you haven't voted in the Poll please do so :) Thanks again .org!! You rock! :grouphug:
