Apologies for the confusion.

Im looking out for a VX id prefer a tubby but NA will do (budget restrictive/ the mrs!!!)

Im currently in London but moving to Lincolnshire (Hough on the Hill) in 3 weeks time.

From current research an NA looks more like due to funds.

Thanks for the welcomes though everyone.

Welcome mate. I know Hough on the hill as my brother lives at Cranwell which isn't too far away. When you move up there I could take you for a spin in my stage 4 tubby if you want to see how they go?

Either type of engine is great fun in this weather, still gets off the line quickly and is great fun around country roads, but at dual carriageway speeds you can get out dragged by modern diesels, which is a bit depressing.

That said, supercharger conversions cost from £3k fitted and will transform the car after a few years of ownership, which is exactly what i'm doing. It lets you spread the cost and will still be comparable to turbo money all in.

I know it's short notice, but VX220 national is at Penbrey this weekend, if you don't have any plans it might be worth making the trip as there will probably be 100 + VXs
