Started dropping these on another post but they do belong here

Car got a clean, clay and wax yesterday - also treated the alloys (which could be powder coated black in the very near future!) and took some snaps before I went out on another drive this morning. Never owned a red car before, but it really works on a VX in my opinion

Also whilst out bought some rattle cans, primer and lacquer with plans to redo the door cards which are showing all of their 11 years.

Cheers guys - to be fair the previous owner kept it in great condition.

Happy to come help a few owners out with the washing/claying/polishing/waxing...of course I will take a more supervisory role

...thanks guys, the top of my head and forehead now look about the same shade of red as the VX after a few more miles!

Ordered my first few bits to make the interior a more comfortable place to be

Kind of just a temporary measure not expecting anything amazing, just some black leather covers for the door cards and handbrake from top gaiters on ebay, seemed to get reasonable reviews on here some time back. Also, going to do some vinyl wrapping on the two dash facias, the vinyl should arrive in the week sometime.

Also need a replacement gear knob!

Well...still loving the car, just epic journeys every time I am in it. So to just add that little extra percentage onto what is almost the perfect drive I bought and installed a set of these to give me some nice sounds:

A mounting depth of just 49mm makes for a good fit and a really good sound, well good enough for my average expectations I guess.

Also decided to get the dash plates done as they were marked (as are the door cards which could well be next) so off they went to get a red carbon dip on them:
