Owned her for a week now so just thought I would post a few pics. I know you have all seen it all before but its must better looking than the silver one I used to own.

The only thing I am not sure about is the front badge. I was wondering if I should refit the 'V' or just leave it as is. What do you think?

I also need a cover for that coolant tank so have put my name down for the group buy. It is starting to look a bit yellowed.

Thanks for the comments guys and gals .

Ok will put the V back on. Does anyone have one going spare that they want to sell me.

I assume that an Ohlin rebuild is expensive then?.

No I don't think the previous owner was a member. He owned it for nine years and traded it in for a XKR. Sorry to disappoint all the perves with the thread title lol

Different angle, I'd offset the VXR & on a slant. It's a special that brought on the VX racing pedigree. Be proud & where the badge with the pride it deserves!

I will place a wanted advert in the classifieds for one. Why do these get removed. My last VX also had it removed as well. I only assume for better cooling but its a marmite thing I suppose.

I can always do both put the V back on and then move the VXR badge to another location on the front grill (on a slant as k5 suggests)

I will have a v you can have in the next few weeks. Needs spraying black though.... Eta also the plinth has been removed from the middle of it. Was going to go on the NA but not so sure now

Looks good and another vote for fitting a V back on. I would also change the coolant tank as it will fail eventually if it is all yellowed. For all the cost involved it's far better to change it now than be stuck at the side of the road some time in the future. Mine lasted just over 2 years prior to signs of impending failure although the car does live outdoors.
