no it isn't a waste dave i have 3 sets of wheels on the vx so need to permute them to use all those tyres 
made the caps myself and used sycoflex ( black plastic crap) to bond them and perfect

td,s/oz/originals 17 and spare set as well just in case
always wanted speedline but can't be bothered now and too heavy
