Hi Guys,

I’m gauging interest in a potential group buy. Stone guards:

  • Front Clam.
  • Rear Clam.
  • Rear Wheel Arches.
  • Sills (possibly).

All will be professionally laser cut (for self application, to fit NA & TB) out top quality “car wrapping” vinyl in:

  • Clear Gloss.
  • Matt Black.
  • Gloss Black.
  • Carbon Fibre Finish (3D type).

I’m thinking of the following price points (per pair, shipped in a tube – rolled – with an applicator), subject to change. Will offer "scale of economy discount" against "sets":

  • Front Clam= £19.50.
  • Rear Clam = £25.00.
  • Rear Wheel Arches = £22.50.
  • Sills (possibly) = £30.00.

Please let me know your thoughts. Snaps are of prototypes applied to my NA. Design may change a little (esp. Rear clam which may be curved, echoing shape of fibreglass form better).

Please let me know your thoughts on price point, sizes, finishes & design. Snaps  are of prototypes applied to my NA. Design may change a little (esp. rear clam which may be curved, better echoing the shape of fibreglass form).

Please Note: This is about the stone guards group buy only. Don’t hijack the thread with a critique of my car.

Thanks – Benzola.

PS: This is a non commercial offer, for the love of all! See group buy forum for more pics.

TBH, all of those designs need some development to look right. The side stone guard needs to extend further down so the boarders match, the front one needs to extend to the left by another 10 mm or so to follow the line of the headlight down, as well as wrap around the grill better. Obviously you've highlighted issues with the rear one but I would also suggest putting a rounded edge on the bottom right and left corners to echo the curved detailing of the fibreglass.

I do think you're on to something when it's sorted.

Still very much alive. But I keep getting delayed / let down. Looks like Prezly will be ready before me with something very similar: http://www.vx220.org...paintgaurd-etc/ Then, whe. he's done with a few other bits we may co-develop my cf version outlined. It will happen, but don't hold your breath. Ben.

I would be interested in a set for the rear wheel arches, especially like yours and similar to the stock one in one piece in opposite to the ones here http://www.vx220.org...aurd-etc/page-3

Do you have decided which layout you will choose for this?
