Put some new wheels on today, going to order some 20mm spacers for the rears and also going to lower the coilovers a little to make them sit better in the arches.
All opinions are welcome! :)

1 problem though, the wheels currently have 225/45/r17s on, the wheels are just catching the arches on full lock, would thinner profile tyres sort this?
Thanks

What offsets have you gone for as they look like they sit in a bit far? Unless its just the pics? How wide are the rims? Nice wheels though :)

I honestly don't know what offset they are! :/ in this pic the fronts do have 7mm spacers but have now been removed now to try stopping the rubbing, it's rubbing less but still catching a tad! :(

Looks ok IMO. Like you say you may have to put some spacers on them. You could always change the tyres to 215/45/17. Are the wheels pretty light?

215 wouldn't be stretched would it? Ye they feel a tad lighter than the standard rears to be honest, but not sure how much exactly though. Was hoping someone else was running them With past experience but can't seem to find anyone. :/

Ideally you need to know the rim width to know what size tyre you can go for

Not sure if the car needs lowering and/or lower profile tyre. Could do with a paintshop pro on this. I cant stand td1.2s so this is a nice refreshing change. Five spokes all the way.

Don't know if it's the protruding wheel design but the rear offset looks wrong.

I just fitted these wheels, they are 7" x17 with 39 off set and with 10mm spacers.

The rears are on 225-45-17 and fronts are 205-45-17.

when fitted the fronts I tried 215-45s with 8mm spacers and the inner tyres just rubbing the inner chassis and very close to the under wing liner at the front so I went for 205-45s on the fronts with 10mm spacers all round and 45mm long studs and is spot on.

Silver wheel nuts,
Well spotted but could also be the brake calipers. Iv wire brushed them down ready for a new paint job.

Thank you! That's a massive help! They're 7.5j, I thought you meant the ET number which is what I don't I know.

Your Corsa looks very nice.

Haha thanks! Used to have a corsa so guess I must be missing it. :/

These tyres are just shite cheapo 1s which I was hoping to use for a month and then get some tidy ones but guess I have to do it now.
I'm not a fan of the 1.2s either, too common for my liking

Don't know if it's the protruding wheel design but the rear offset looks wrong.

Any idea on why? Going to get some spacers for them to fill the arches a bit more.

Thanks mate! These are off a corsa ain't they? Very nice. I think I may have to try 205s too.

these are the wheels I originally wanted but they don't make them in the correct size
