She's relatively rookie to the camera thing but trying to build a bit of a portfolio so anyone in the Somerset area want some high res images of their car let me know. She has no idea I've put this offer out there so I'll let her know!

good stuff in there

bit more understanding of the camera and the wife will be an award winning photoghaper

Smal depth of field     ie 1.2 .8 .4  means small area of fucus (interest)

you can play in M mode with iso to allow you to get what you want

tri pod essential

10/10 for showing all 4wheels

pros bang on about this !!

For me it's about how you feel when you first see the car and the angle that makes you feel the most comfortable with the shape

if that actually makes sense ?????????

The stuff I showed in my crappy pictures of the mazda car were shot at 30 second expsposure

There is so much u can do with still life (cars) inparticular

maybe do multiple exposure bracket 2 stops ansd then try HDR

or just blend layers as you like .

As the pro do

Photoshop is so fantastic

I don't know if any of you lot have ever actually had a dark room?photolab in the garage

but cs6 is as close if not 1000 times better

no chemiucals needed

I come from a dark room in the garage situation where if you need to underexpose something  you dodge it with your hand or a card or something

photoshop has put all that shizzel back into my office

it's the bollocks !

whatch the how to's and tutorials on utube it's simple oncwe you get it

Not bad.   thumbsup

Only comment I would have is that you need to watch the angle of the front wheels. Turn them so that the wheel is facing the camera rather than away from it.
