for 5 k i dont think its going to be something i really want , so lets just say a cash sale only unless someone has a nice performance AWD or 4WD

Depends how long you want to keep it for sale for. Might be easier to sell on a different car than this.

I'm going the other way and just bought a truck for the winter so I want to make my second car more 'fun'...
Would a mkii TT 3.2 v6 quattro be of interest? I must be up front and say I would be looking for a straight trade.

Cheers Vanquish (Damian), it took me all summer but got it in the end!
Cheers Jonny - had an enjoyable first day, this VX certainly has lungs! 
Now just need a specialist insurer that stays open longer than 9-5pm ffs
