This not the easiest of conversions if you have a M32 gear box. :drink:

just ask TTV for an eight bolt z22se M32 flywheel ;)

That is what we had to do. Turbo rear wishbone , Clutch conversion .

I don't understand the need for a vxT wishbone, is it to do with the external trigger wheel requiring more room ?

The external trigger wheel required more space it caught on the NA wishbone

very strange, there is normally quite a bit of room between the crank pulley and wishbone. We need pics

I had a chance to call into CS had along chat and look at the problem with Jon. You could move the trigger wheel further up it would give more clearance, At present there is a about 17mm ,under load on track it would catch the sensor.

As the engine is already in place it is easier to change the wishbone.

Okay,

So that sounds do-able (moving sensor when fitting).

Says a man who'll be paying someone else to do it...

With the turbo wishbone the centre support is further across giving more clearance.

that does look a little tight, the Webcon version is quite shallow, so guess the z22se version is a little more chunky

It'll be even closer with a 6pk crank pulley. :beat:

Cheaper to buy a VXT/Europa/Yotamota Elise lower wishbone than dicking about with the internals of a brand new engine. Would still like to see a picture of Kieran's setup in comparison to Ultimate's.

Yeah need to see how much a tubby wishbone gives for clearance. Though lee reckoned my tubby wishbones looked exactly same as the ones on his sc na?

Is there any negatives to mixing wishbones? Will the car be massively compromised?
