No, from a geometry point of view, they're identical.

They are in deed , I bought a new one direct from Lotus comes complete with bushes and ball joint.

Cheaper to buy a VXT/Europa/Yotamota Elise lower wishbone than dicking about with the internals of a brand new engine. Would still like to see a picture of Kieran's setup in comparison to Ultimate's.

Photos will be on the way next week when I get the car back

Good man. thumbsup What ECU are you running now. The standard with OBDTtuner, the standard with a Courtenay map, the LSJ ecu with HPTuners or something else entirely?

These engines, would they have been bench tested? If storing for a while would they have been greased up enough to prevent corrosion. When I get mine it will be stored out in the garage for a while, is there any special precautions that I should take to ensure everything runs ok once installed?

Mine has been stored for a couple of years. It has been rebuilt bench tested now run up in the car and is fine.

I just asked him.

He´s on a 6rib pully, hitec crank and oem NA wishbone. 

 

 

Here´s his. Plenty of space by the looks of it :huh:

even more room if you mount the sensor at the crank pulley 10 'O' clock position :mellow:

Is the sensor position not dictated by the teeth on the new trigger wheel and where TDC is on the OE crank pulley? :unsure:
