How much would it cost to get this engine ready for 350HP (with harrop)? Not considering the charger itself or the exhaust. But ready for use in a car with sc installed already and dutch ecu.

I would suggest to contact vocky here to get an indication on a fully prepped engine.

Please note that the engines are indeed bare and do not come with any ancillaries.

thats exactly how we want them  thumbsup

the only part we do need is the small coolant pipe across the inlet manifold, which bolts direct to the cylinder head

Vocky how much will it cost me if I ask you to prep this engine so that it's ready for harrop and 350+ BHP?

How is the B207 compared to the Z22SE?. I know the 207 has under piston oil jets but why not just rebuild the Z22 and add the oil jets?

Sand cast head with different drilled threads allows much more porting, valves can cope with higher temperatures. if you leave it as a 2.0 L you'll also get a crank and conrods that can cope with a lot more power.

And it works out cheaper to buy one of these than it would to upgrade your old z22se engine

Hello,

I wanted to buy a B207R from neobother...but it seems that they don't have "R" engine anymore

They propose my a B207L, They told me that the only difference from this bare unit is the camshaft...

But by googling it seems that the B207L got: (http://foorumi.saabc...pic.php?t=61337)

a different cyllinder head assembly

a different fuel rail and injectors:

a different valve cover.
a different intake manifold.
a different PCV valve:
a different flywheel

All of the bottom-end internals appear to be the same including connecting rods, pistons, crankshaft, and bearings.

Have you some feedback, experience with B207L unit?

If I change only the camshaft  I have a good unit for a swap?

Thanks for your help

PS anyone want to sell me a B207R unit?

EDIT: Looks like there some B207L used on this forum...so I think I should buy this engine and start my winter project...

Just the cams are different and they need replacing anyway. I have stripped both the R and L, plus a few others Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
