A conversation with Vocky today means I'm edging ever closer to being in on this one guys.
There's a part of me that would get a peverse sense of pleasure from running a VX220 with a Saab engine. Think I may stick at 2.0, rather than 2.2, and stick with 270ish bhp?

But then you would have to mod more like external trigger loom I was going to ask mr vocky if it would be possible to do a 2.4 version
Neil didn't suggest running the engine a 2.0-litre would be a problem.
Supposedly bolt in trigger wheel neeeded, but pistons etc could stay the same - just need the LSJ cams. I'd like to think that circa 270-280bhp would be enough, and with decent manifold and exhaust etc that should be easy enough.
Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the impression I got from Neil.

Not 100% but I think the Dutch guys are running a full lsj engine
Exmantaa has an out of the box lsj doing 280 on an M62, running on full lsj ecu.
His buddy has a 2.0 mixed block, also running lsj ecu and harrop. (somewhere between 330 and 350)
Plan is to do a few more this winter, including mine.
Myself (and maybe more) will be using the obdtuner, so either z22se cracktrigger emulation, or somehow get a z22se cracktrigger into the B207.
