I had a load of the inside as well but am struggling to find them again at the moment. I'll either search again later or take some more to upload.

I would hate to add up all the time it took. I mostly did little bits at a time over the course of a couple of months. I think it would best be measured in days not just hours though! A lot of it was done ad-hoc with a little trial and error along the way so if I was to do it again I would be a lot quicker.

 

It's pretty much as I envisaged there's a couple of little niggles that I can live with but at some point in the future when I can be bothered I feel I need to re-shape the overhang on the front lip as to the left of the stereo it goes noticeably more shallow.  That should just be a case of peeling back the alcantara and shaping a few more millimetres of material onto the edge.

I think I am well covered for in car OBDII linkage. I have my Insight CTS on the right and the Torque, Palmer Performance, and a few other apps via the stereo.

From this angle it looks like the start button could do with being an inch to the right but from above it's OK.

Looks mighty impressive mate, am a big fan of this! Now I can see its possible, might have a go at something similar, (though not as many screens for me, more along the lines of the replacement vents) as the standard round things are the definition of garbage!!

The vents are my favourite bit I think they suit the curve of the windscreen well and look so much better than the originals. As I mentioned they seem to have the added bonus of being more efficient as well. They are from a Mitsubishi FTO if anyone was interested in trying to do the same. Some on eBay here at the moment.

Did you just cut through to the tunnel the air goes through for the original vents?

 

What did you use to block up the old vent holes?

Pretty much, the ducting was all removed, cut down shorter and the four saucer shape extension bits that feed the original vents blocked off. I added a couple of support rods that bridged the gap of the new cut outs which made the otherwise now fragile rear piece stronger. These where also used to wrap zip ties around to secure the vents in place. I skimmed over the top of the original vent holes with fibre glass tissue and body filler then squirted expanding foam inside the hole to fill them up.

from someone else who's always playing with fibreglass and filler I can really appreciate the work. I can't say it's to my taste I'm afraid though.
