Yup, was checking to see if you were up to anything interesting. Using helicopters for convenience store robberies is an interesting idea . Was going quite well for me till the clerk shot me in the back as I was walking out with the cash.

quicker to get away and they normally give up straight with the chase, until you've done several in a row then they get a bit upset. plus you can cover ground quicker to get to the next store holdup. If you have two people, then the pilot has the engines ready to go and ready to life before the cops get anywhere near to the site.

I recently got this so well behind you lot I think. Perparing to rob the jewlery store soon I think. Gone for the best people and a covert operation. How do I join the crew setup? I think there are a couple as well? Which one? Im xbox as that will make a difference. Ta

The crew setup in game is a bit rubbish. You can't seem to join a named crew, only the ones that Rockstar suggests for you.

By far the path of least pain is to join or create a crew via the Rockstar Social Club. This then shows up in game under 'My Crews',

Fly in from Los Santos airport in a chartered (ie stolen) helicopter and jack :

 

Fighter Jet

C130 transport

Tank (very tough as I'm not sure how you get it out of the base!)

I am TheBlitzedStig hahaha. If someone adds me, I'll try my best to work out what you mean. As i said, i havent long had so other than causing carnage, not fully up to scratch yet

Done it the first way a few times. Only problem with that side is its a patrol route for the tanks. He was lucky the tank missed 3 times (you can hear it firing).

Every time I've tried I got toasted by the first shot! Second way is a better entry point.

The assault on fort Zancudo sounds like fun although I'm not sure how far I'd get with a pistol, probably time to invest in some guns (and I was saving up for a house )
