Btw in the jewellery store heist did everybody lose a motorcyclist in the escape ?

I wasn't sure whether it was because I didn't choose the best squad members or not, but thinking about it the extra $1million shared out would've made everybody pretty rich so early on in the game.

I paid for the most expensive crew and made it back with $4.9 million.

 

Thanks for the stock market tip. I've mainly been playing with the BAWSAQ one so far (only 16% through the game), but I basically just threw a load of cash into ammunation expecting the share value to rise as loads of other players start buying guns! Not really made any money so far though, but i'll be patient with them. I guess the in-game market ill fluctuate far more than the BAWSAQ one anyway?

 

Trevor is awesome, I certainly play more aggressively with him than the others when not on missions.

 

Has anyone done many of the side games like golf etc? I've not tried anything yet.

Bawsaq doesnt really work as there is no online part yet. Once there is it will move a lot quicker. I plan on putting a couple of million into ammunation before online goes live.

Yup, i did.. Ill never buy cheap again because the amount you physically end up loosing is always going to be more than their percentage which they take.

Pretty chuffed that I just managed to steal a fighter jet from the military base, escape the onslaught of tanks, and then fly it safely and land it in my hangar near Sandy Shores, where it now awaits some playtime!  

 

The targeting system automatically lock onto police as you fly over

I collected the bag too after someone here said it might happen. The rider said his bike was going squiffy or something and then fell off.

picked up a copy from Sainsbury yesterday , only got it installed so far , it will be the only game not in the CoD series I've bought for quite a few years. Even then the rest have been FPS , ie Rainbow 6

I've still only just met Trevor, and done the first gun run drop in the planes, then I bought the hangar. No idea if I needed it, but I've got enough cash and it's a way of earning money right?

I dont lol, just a few days off work with nothing better to do

 

You didnt need the hanger, but once you have done all the main missions and have some spare dollar, you will end up just going round buying all the propertys...then you will get the mini management missions to kill some time

 

I saved all the freaks and management missions til the end, the main story line ones are too addictive...CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE NOW!

 

(for the record, i have not played on the PS for 5 years...think ive opened up a can of worms)

Just completed the helicopter FIB raid.

Rappelling down the side of the building

 

Planned my "Boat raid" went for the offshore option, not sure how thats gonna pan out, gotta nick a submarine and helicopter first.

 

Did all of the flight school with Michael, except I just can't get the parachute landing right

This game is taking up way too much of my time. The fact that I lack focus means I'm just doing whatever mission is closest to where I am, so progress is slow

 

Blew a load of money customizing a car as Franklin and then lost the car after a mission I'm starting to think money management might be an important thing in this game.

Same! I was browsing the paint options and ended up spending £1200 on painting a car chrome!! It is staying chrome out of principle!

Completed the game the other day in about 25 hours of playing since I bought it when it first came out. It's the shortlist GTA they have made I reckon.

Lol £1200.. I wouldnt worry too much.. And try not to customise any vehicle other than the character cars as you will end up loosing them at some point, most of the time through no fault of your own since there is a bug in garages atm. Ive completed it and got over 50,000,000 on each character so dont worry about £1200. . Top tip.. Only do Lester missions at the end of the game so you have maximum money to invest.
