What's that sunbeam lotus shell? Had several of those cars. Not a pukka works shell is it?

Got a 32grand engine in it , it's a customers car . Just painted

Well if the motor was that much then maybe it is an ex works car. Holy smokes.
Before I got a VX I was contemplating modifying the sunbeam lotus I had at the time into a trackday car. After adding up cost of the rebuild I wanted to do I gave up at £15k. So sold it & it funded my VX. Still have massive soft spot for them though. My youth!
