It was more so they were both hidden away, but no probs I'm happy with yoursI'd need to make an entirely new enclosure which would be another 8 months given how long it took me the first time round
I'd be very surprised if the one isn't enough.

I still need to check what shelf design I've got, does anyone no when they swapped over to the new shelfs? as I've got an 03 tubby
Dunk has the old shelf design on his Turbo, but it's anyone's guess :s

Would still look better in a Saxo.

Meh.
If you look around your Audi you will find a similar audio setup to what i'm aiming for, the Audi doesn't make you a chav, so why should fitting an aftermarket part make me a chav?
I'm just after some bass to fill in the sound, i've tried a slimline sub and I didn't like how it didn't seem integrated into the rest of the car. This is my solution. It doesn't mean others won't use it for brain-mushing bass, but there are enough abuses of this car elsewhere.

Meh indeed. Bought one of these and they look ruddy class. Cant wait to get the bugger in position and it will no doubt improve the sonics sh!t loads. Means you can turn up the crossovers on the rest of the speakers and running it at a normal volume, the sub will sound freakin ace

Can you put the seat all the way back with that one Ray? It looks quite deep.
Yep it's fine, the enclosure sits just off the seats when they're full back

That's the old style, which means the sub will fit (not saying the new style won't fit, just that I haven't had a chance to try)
Have you been able to get into it yet?

Indeed the Audi does have one as standard and it's not optional, though you'd never find it nor particularly appreciate it in use. It also doesn't mean losing precious space and removing a seat to use it or remove it.
I never mentioned "chav", you did. I happen to think it looks really well made and probably would look better still flocked. But, as far as I'm concerned it (and any dicking about with any kind of quality audio) is still better suited to just about any other car on the road ahead of the VX. I'm not anti hifi and have spent an obscene amount of money on car and home hifi over the years.

Sorry, I missread Saxo as Chav

£170 shipped.
If you go for alcantara then get the stuff that isn't backed, otherwise it won't stretch enough to cover the contours. Flocking would be the neatest, and probably cheapest option.
