Went to Donington yesterday with some friends (all ex racers - except me) and it poured with rain all day.

One of the other guys came along in his Ferrari F430 and had some fun splashing around so I had to get some on board footage following in my VX. There's a nice little 'moment' from the Ferrari at 2:52:-

I also got some onboard footage from the VX - lots of slipping around (and a spin at 11:46 - no damage):

I got the marshals to check my drive by sound level and it was a MASSIVE .... 83db!

i was at donnington today and it rained all day.  Certainly makes you become a smoother driver.....  No Ferraris but there was a nice Grey VXR220 Turbo.  Very nice track and extremely challenging in the wet.

I hope you had some better weather than we had. It was a little slippery yesterday! There was plenty of valuable cars including a Ferrari 458, race spec Aston vantage, BMW M3 Brit car, modified r35 skylines... I'd say more than 50% were dedicated race cars yesterday, even the M3 CSL turned up on a trailer.

It was. I went out for some passenger laps in one of the caterham r300's with no doors, roof or windscreen. My waterproof trousers and coat arent actually waterproof - I got soaked to the skin, literally! It was sooo worth it though. The caterhams can slide for England - huge fun in the wet as long as you don't mind getting wet yourself and amazingly grippy.
