It's crankcase pressure and normally indicates worn piston rings or bores, however I suspect in this case it's a result of the thermal expansion coefficient of the Wiseco pistons.

Its only you and Kieren running the Saabs that I know of. You may need to learn German or Dutch and check on the Speedster forums for any more and their status.

ZZP say they checked the timing of their Comp Cam versions, so we rely on this. It's possible to check with a degree wheel and valve lift measurement, but taht's quite a tedious process. Think Vocky posted something about this method a while ago.

One of the ZZP kits is now out of the car and on a mock up engine for investigation as described above.

Rob's (Speedster4fun) ZZP Stage1 cams are on the testbench as his idle was all over the place on the LSJ timing gear settings. (some 5-6 degrees off...)

Dominique's Stage 1's we timed in with a dial calliper and are now within 0.25* of the Comp specsheet.

I have the Stage 2's in my yellow car and will see how that goes @ Zandvoort Friday. :D

@ Smiley; no idea how good your Stage 1 cams are timed

Courtenay gasket is around 6mm thickness.

I have the same combo:

stock b207 engine

80mm @ harrop

lsj 6 rib crank pulley

group buy 6 rib alternator pulley

Courtenay phenolic spacer

My 6PK1290 fits ok
