My oil pump is with Vocky having the crank sensor and trigger wheel done. So guess I'm committed to 2 litre! Have the stage 2 comp cams and dbilas valve springs and Matt Bentley flywheel. Think I'm going to do electric water pump, balance delete on bottom end. Sticking with the m62 charger. Has anyone done an oil cooler rad in the ear rather than the coolant heat exchanger?

I have a gear box oil cooler rad in the ear plus 12 pump

But Neil and Joe would know better as they are doing it all

4. Chris. Leave it sat in my back garden until i can be bothered to pull it to bits.

5. Tony. Ornament. Going to collect all the adaptations and that while I decide what to do.

6. Smiley. 2.0 with head exhaust part ported, zzp or comps cams, lightened flywheel, external crank, water injection, harrop and obdtuner.

we are going to lose some boost from artic monkeys car as we are getting close to the limits

and its not allowing us to do what we need to do with the ignition settings

Mine uses much oil. About 1l/1000km when in cruising mode. More when pushing it. Will get it out and see what is destroyed in winter Never had problems with dipstick blowing out or something. HP: long story... At the moment 348 which the oem n/a backbox and only revved to 6800 on rolling road. No difference between tullet 3" backbox and oem n/a up to 6500rpm

We are getting a lot of crank pressure on artic monkeys Car and want to cover all the bases rather than cause bigger issues so we will be capping the power around 330 hp the torque around 350 NM We are hoping to be able to get more ignition in with a bigger pulley, we are not where we want to be with the ignition setting and we can't do this with keeping in the power and torque targets above Also how do you 2.0l guys get on with heat with the harrops on the 2.0

No it's the power and torque we are producing before getting to the sweet spot So the theory is, by going bigger pulley we can get the desired ignition settings ( more ignition ) To keep the car smoother when the temps go up and the ecu starts retarding We are also hoping the bigger pulleys will also help control the temps So it's a win win by going for a bigger pulley

Interesting. If you're not knock limited at that power level, there really isn't a reason to switch to low compression pistons.

Heat is our biggest issue along with crank pressure at the moment

To keep the car smoother when the temps go up and the ecu starts retarding

Peter can put in a higher number then 57 to start retarding. (via a map update.)

No need to wait for obdtuner pro for that.

Unless there is something going on in the background I don't think it's adding fuel until we reach 71degrees on the inlet temps & 98 on the water temps

And low compression Pistons help with the heat issues

Don't see how that makes any difference at all. If anything an aftermarket piston will tolerate more heat due to higher quality materials
