All at the flywheel.

This was done on the same bit of road as Martins. You might even see the same 2 bumps that appear on my graphs. Its a new road and the smoothest one around. What I should have done is hooked up OBDTuner to the car while it was on the dyno and asked the fella to give it a couple of blasts in second. I did get a log file of the run though if you want a look?

Has smiley got a dyno run and a obd power run to compare Or anyone else ?

Smiley is not so from the engine power runs, but he probably can give you an accurate overview of all his Zandvoort laptimes and corner speeds...   rallly

i dont think smiley is anywhere close to optimised ignition settings we had a few general conversations about his and my ignition settings

not sure if he adopted my settings i sent to him.

I think he will not bother much about maximizing his tune now, not untill I bolt a Harrop onto his 2.0 and he finally has his engine config. complete. :jump:

You mean well aged... as in 2nd hand from the US, shipped to NL, tucked away in 2 garages for a few years and then finally bolted into as Speedster without any overhaul/inspection.  OK, it got new sparks and fresh oil and I did crank it round first without plugs, haha...

But seriously, my LSJ is an older short block, but we also did 1 complete overhauled & re-lined Z20NET 2.0 and now 3 new B207's in stock 2.0 configuration, all running well and no oiling issues reported. And all are tracked quite regularly...

I have no problems with Zandvoort now, at least till 19:00h. Later that's more strict but I don't know their (and my) exact Db limits. (Smiley?!)

The downpipe also makes all the difference,so I fitted a 300cpi OEM catsection. Maybe I loose a few BHP's, but at least I don't have to worry about my noise limit. And it still survives the Harrop, not unimportant...

No. Scared shitless to do that without a wideband.

Zandvoort works with a noise quota. If only a few make silly noise, they let it go. (up to 19:00)

If many, they deal with it, as it will burn their daily quota to fast.

After 19:00 you need to be very quite, and a big no go for SC car's. (then somewhere between 88 and 95 is enforced)

not the afr you need to worry about how ever it is a good idea to do a other fuel learn after findinding optimum ignition

@frank What is your boost pressure on your 80mm Harrop Setup? I am on 80mm harrop stock LSJ Engine with Springs and Stage 1 cams and 3' exhaust on 1,25bar in 3. gear

Checked a log Rob's 2.0 Harrop 80mm pulley and 2,5" Tullett exhaust, +decat pipe. Had standard LSJ cams then if I remember correct and 235KPA @ 7600rpm

3 inch and decat keeps the pressure down: good!

Chill has a 2.2 and as the SC is a fixed volume pump, he will make less boost pressure then a 2.0 on the same pulley...

It's always been my theory to use a bigger pulley to keep pressure down and temps lower Less stress on the engine and it still makes ok power 🙈 But have to admit I do still have temp issues so the guys with super small pulleys and 2.0 engines and 2.5 inch exhausts etc must have high pressure and high temps which are worse than mine

And besides that, bigger pulley/less blower rpm takes less power to drive the supercharger, so relatively more power to the wheels. The trick with an SC is to keep our boost pressure as low as possible. Mounting smaller pulleys is simply less and less effective...
