Chill It would be good to get yours on the rollers to see how bad that dip is then. I think the power run graph is making this look much worse than it is
yep your right
think its time to byte the bullit

im trying to make a serious thread here
Just keep trying... Only to keep the relevant info with the different graphs to compare builds & power.
And would be good if someone, or maybe more, with his current 'OBD mods' would go onto the rollers to compare a rolling road graph with the OBD output?
Trying the same here, but I don't run an OBD ecu to compare. (and not easy to borrow one and do a parallel install...) But there is a program that does exactly the same as the OBD power plot; using rpm and car/engine acceleration data in time and calculate Power/Torque. See what that brings

Hmmmm, green for go. At least until 5700rpm, then I'm wasted by you guys. I'm busy with wedding stuff (9 days...) at the mo but mine is at Relentless Performance right now. Sadly, there's been a few issues uncovered with the build so far. Hopefully they'll be sorted ASAP then it's onto paint, and some more mapping. And IMO the restriction really does seem to be in the inlet manifold. But this isn't news right? People have been talking about redesigning this for years.green - graeme lambert Black - chill blue - exmanta orange - artic monkey red - smiley

are you on a small pulley G
all others are on big pulleys with exception of artic monkey but we are going to be changing his to a bigger pulley before final mapping

do you not think that sandwich plate is causing more of a restriction
i know you didnt have much choice because of you charger

I see where you're coming from but the Honda SC boys run them without issue? To be completely honest, if there is a restriction at circa 320bhp, wherever its coming from, I'll be happy to simply map it as smoothly and as progressively to that number in the safest way - hopefully with a large pulley and low temps got reliability. And yes, we need a vx220.org rolling road day with all the SC boys (Dutch, CS, Standalone, M62), turbo boys (standard, stg2, stg3, stg4, stg Nev), itb and n/a. Maybe one for early 2016?do you not think that sandwich plate is causing more of a restriction i know you didnt have much choice because of you charger

G man is right.
No restriction. K20's do 320 wheel hp on m62's with that cooler or 400 wheel hp with tvs1320.

Presumably they have a less restrictive inlet manifold also? You always said you wanted to design a new inlet?G man is right. No restriction. Yes open manifold. Plus massive ports in the head but ignor that.
Yes think someone should rip one open. Think lee is going to this winter.
