Cheers stefan ,
see you still haven't got a wideband working ?
and have you got a CAT just wondered as your lambda readings

cat = yes
wideband = not yet

After a long journey of cracked manifold, software problems and issues with my basemap, it's drivable.
Stil long road ahead on mapping, but at least this is what i expected from my 3.1" pully on basemap in the cold.
Cut off should be at 7500 rpm. No idea why and what it's doing that at 7100.
That is a pretty flat torque plateau... Not too shabby for our home brew 2,5" + cat exhaust system.
ps; max out the OBD rev limiter please

ps; max out the OBD rev limiter please
I did. It's set to 7500, but starts to go down at 7100.
Will try again at 7800 (which is the max obdtuner allows) when the tarmac surface allows.

Many of the saab engines seem to just hit a sort of limiter at around 7000.

We think it's obdtuner Martin, as Chill has the exact same in his run.

Did you already tune the ignition?
No, basemap. (actually the basemap that was created for the M62) The cold weather is also currently helping it being very generous with the numbers.
In spring/summer at around 20 degrees and optimised ignition should give a more fair real number for seasonal usage. In theory these 2 will create a usable 330 in summer.
Then of course i will need water injection, as the harrop is known to hit 95 degrees inlet on peak usage.

Ignition table goes to 7800, same as the limiter.
No extend option. That would require Peter to make an updated version i think.

Last night put the limiter on 7800, and now the graph goes down at 6800.
I could feel the limiter kicking in way past 7k, (really felt like 7800), yet the output says something else.
Really weird.

Does increasing the RPM actually do anything or could it just transpose the adjusted map across a fixed RPM range?
Posted 10 March 2016 - 10:07 AM
smiley has no wideband so unsure how he has fuel map up there , especially during WOT normally you would have to a few runs with a wideband and you apply the fuel changes and smooth it of

@Smiley: I would advise not push the engine without a wideband. You said you run a m62 map on a Harrop now with more boost (correct?). More boost normally results in a lean mixture.
If all the above is correct, this means you have no sight on the actual AFR during WOT/Boost. You can potentially grenade your engine now without knowing.
The AFR is also an influence on horsepower. The different drop-off points from where power drops is certainly a strange thing (I also want to know why), but keep in mind you can also run very lean up top right now (=losing hp).
Not want to be a ****, just some well ment advise.

Have you tried doing the power run in 3rd gear instead?Think the dip is traction issues
