the Dbilas website says none required for their springs  thumbsup

 

I know that the Schrick double valve springs require the head to be machined  thumbsdown

But the supertech ones are the ones you would fit Neil if it were your own engine?

 

When I purchased mine the only real choice was Schrick or Supertech

 

Knowing that the mad doc had to modify the heads for TMS when they used the schrick cams I chose the Supertech  :lol:

 

But to answer your question if I was to build myself another cylinder head I would still use the Supertech, because they work well - okay as long as you use the Saab roller rockers with more clearance or modify the steel versions  :glare:
